Claim Compensation in Spirit Airlines Carry-On Fee Lawsuit
|
Spirit Airlines is now facing the repercussions of karma due to excessive charges on carry-on luggage fees, leading to an $8.25 million lawsuit that requires the airline to compensate affected passengers.
If you are one of the unfortunate travelers, justice is finally here! Two law firms leading a class-action lawsuit against Spirit Airlines are currently accepting claims from individuals who booked flights with the airline between August 31, 2011, and May 3, 2017.
Plaintiffs allege that despite being informed that carry-on fees were included in the ticket price when booking through online agents, customers were unexpectedly charged during boarding.
💰 How do I file a claim?
Klafter Lesser LLP and the Hermina Law Group, overseeing the Spirit Airlines lawsuit, have launched a website for claims. Eligible individuals, who booked Spirit flights through specified platforms from August 31, 2011, to May 3, 2017, and paid a carry-on fee, can fill out a simple claim form that takes less than five minutes to receive compensation.
The deadline is January 14, 2024, with a December 11 hearing to finalize the preliminary $8.25 million settlement. Filing early is recommended!

Set Sail On a Taylor Swift-Themed Cruise in 2024
|
Karma is the breeze in my hair on the cruise ship! PSA for all you Swifties: a Taylor Swift-themed cruise, inspired by her Eras tour, is setting sail from Miami to the Bahamas for a four-night journey next fall—all thanks to three Taylor Swift super fans.
Travel agents Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes are working with Royal Caribbean to organize the fan-led cruise that promises all things Taylor Swift heartfelt tribute to the singer, although not officially endorsed by Taylor herself.
🚢 Share the deets!
Sailing from Miami the day after Taylor Swift's three-day Miami concert series, a four-night cruise to the Bahamas departs on October 21, 2024, and returns on October 24. With stops at Royal Caribbean's private island, Coco Cay, and a day at sea.
Cruise activities include a welcoming cocktail soirée, friendship bracelet exchange, themed dance parties, karaoke sessions, Taylor Swift-themed trivia, and nightly dress-up themes based on different eras.
💵 What’s the cost? The voyage begins at $1,573 for a two-person interior guest room and goes up to $1,967 for an ocean-view balcony. Unfortunately, the middle-priced option, a boardwalk view balcony at $1,851, is already sold out. A $100 deposit is required for each booking, and currently, this deposit allows you a $100 onboard credit. You can join the waitlist for bookings on the
Eras cruise aboard Allure of the Seas now!
