My most pressing issue with humans is that everything seems to be a competition—the ultimate goal being to position themselves as bigger and better than the next person, place, or thing. For goodness' sake, Texas' actual slogan is: "Everything's bigger in Texas."
Now we have South Korea building an insane 591-foot spokeless Ferris wheel to trump a World Record-holding 467-foot observation wheel in Weifang, China. I'm not getting on that thing. Can we just go back to small and quaint? I prefer that much more.
